Career Path
As we hire only experienced executives and embrace the philosophy of a meritocracy, Princeton & Company’s career path covers only four levels: Associate, Senior Associate, Associate Partner and Partner.
Following the principles of the Cravath System, our apprenticeship model requires that consultants progress through our ranks quickly and reach the qualifications for the next level within three years.

The ideal candidates
To fulfill our promise to our clients, Princeton & Company recruits only experienced, impact-driven professionals that have both industry and prior professional services experience. We are attracted by individuals who have a balanced background that includes a strong entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity, exposure to the intellectual rigors of top tier professional services firms and hands-on operational experience in industry. In return, we offer the best of both worlds, giving our consultants the opportunity not only to devise strategies on paper, but also support our clients on the execution journey.
Desired qualifications
- A minimum of six years of experience, of which three must have been with a top tier strategy consulting, investment banking or law firm
- Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
- Exceptional management and people skills
- A Bachelors degree with exceptional academic credentials (e.g. ranked among the top 20% of your graduating class) from a distinguished university is a requirement
- An advanced university degree (e.g. MBA, J.D., Ph.D.) from a top university is advantageous
